I just can't say enough about this place. Fred the owner is great, very helpful and accommodating. Whether you're a couple looking for some alone time or a whole big family this place works. It has a nice spacious floor plan, it's clean & well taken care of, neutral colors, has a great kitchen, laundry room and big bathrooms. It's a very relaxing, quiet, peaceful place to stay with beautiful surroundings where you get to see all kinds of different wildlife. It's located close enough to go visit and do so many different things!! There's something for everyone. It's a short distance from Florissant Fossil Beds, hiking, picnicking, tubing, Cripple Creek where you can gamble, get ice cream, eat at one of several different places, go to one of many different museums, take a train ride, browse the local shops or go on a mine tour. A little further away is Manitou Springs, Santa's Work Shop, Seven Falls, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Will Rogers Shrine, Cave Of The Winds, Garden Of The Gods, Pikes Peak and so many more places you can go, too many for me to list. Just really a great place to stay because it's located in a quiet, peaceful, beautiful mountain setting where you get to enjoy your location and the beautiful surrounding plus you can get in the car, take a drive and go do so many different things. You get the best of it all if you ask me.

We had a lovely stay at this cute cabin. Lots of room, big bathrooms, and a wonderful kitchen and laundry room. The floor plan is open and spacious.
The cabin is remote, but just a few minutes from highway 24. We were able to do so many fun activities without driving far at all. Florissant Fossil Beds are a just a few minutes away, along with a great little historical museum and a fun bar and grill (Thunderbird).
The owner told us about a dam where we could have a picnic, and we saw eagles' nests while we were there! We used his inter tubes to go down the nearby river and saw lots of wildlife from the house and road (deer, fox, elk, hawks, and more).
