Snowed Inn Estes was a great place to stay! While we were still unpacking the car, we were treated to the sight of a dozen elk coming down the hill behind the cabin. When we went inside, we were immediately impressed with the lovely rooms, each with those extra little decorating touches that added warmth and beauty to make us feel very much at home. It was very apparent that the owners love this home and want their guests to enjoy it as much as they do. The kitchen was fully equipped with excellent cookware as well as many spices and condiments. All of the beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The open floor plan perfectly accommodated the dining and entertainment needs of our large group. Weather permitting, we recommend starting your day eating breakfast outside on the front porch. The guest house offered the perfect solution for additional space if you’re traveling with a larger group. The guest house featured charming décor, a queen bed and a luxurious jetted tub! Again, the owners have truly gone out of their way to make this a special place. Snowed Inn Estes is convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park and a variety of activities including hiking, biking, rafting, and more. It’s an ideal location to seek peace and quiet in the outdoors, but it’s also nearby to downtown Estes Park with its many shops, excellent restaurants, library, and movie theater. Remember to buy some salt water taffy at The Taffy Shop! This comfortable, inviting home had everything we needed in a vacation home and more. Try Snowed Inn Estes for an outstanding mountain getaway destination. The VRBO Bear

The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We saw deer in the back of the cabin, and elk across the road. It is very close to Estes Park. I highly recommend it. Thank you Cheryl!

Thanks so much. Happy the wild life participated in your enjoyment of Estes Park and my home.
This home is a great "home base" for Estes Park, Lyons, and Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park activities. We had family wedding-related events in all 3 places, and this location was perfect. Also very comfortable and spacious. The owner, Cheryl, was easy to work with, and she went out of her way to make our visit successful. The best part -- we viewed the eclipse (92 percent ) from the lovely back porch. No obstructions, and no crowds!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy mountain home! It's decorated in a perfect CO mountain vibe and the bedrooms even have a bit of their own theme. It's all very tastefully done and the owner was very helpful in making our arrangements. Our family of 6 adults and 2 teens were able to fully enjoy our time together relaxing, chatting by the fire and playing board games over the holidays, which is exactly what we were looking for! We rented the main house as well as the detached guest house. The shared space was very comfortable and kitchen was well-stocked (we used some of the coffee and returned the favor by replacing when we left), yet, we each had our own rooms to escape to, if needed. The bed was very comfortable. This beats staying at a hotel any day, in my book!
If you are looking for a homey place to get away from it all, near Estes Park, this is a great place we'd gladly return to! The price was reasonable and having the whole home to yourself is wonderful. By the way, we steered completely clear of the neighbor the owner warns you about. I suppose we were pretty quiet overall, so, did not have any issues. Thanks to Cheryl and her husband for being kind hosts!

We went to Estes on girls' weekend, and I can't say enough good things about the owner, Cheryl. She was very accommodating and easy with whom to communicate. The property is so quaint and cozy. We enjoyed just hanging out in the front room, sitting on the sun porch and just "chilling."
We will definitely look into this home when we come back.

Thanks so much! You were great guests as well!
Great place for a family - three bedrooms plus a separate room next to the main house. Located three miles from downtown Estes Park, this location provides the best of being close to town yet fr enough away to get away from the crowds.
Nice facilities, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable seating to relax after a full day of hiking and golf. We cooked all meals at home to save time and money - avoiding the long lines in town.
We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely return again.
Thank you Cheryl for the great hospitality.

The property was nice and well kept. I question the water usage of the septic system. We had ten staying there which is what it is advertised for. I received an email from owner saying to much water was used. I remember seeing in another previous post from another guest commenting that the owner questioned them as well. Being that our home is on well and septic we know the function of those and ours is a new home and are up to date. I would suggest that they update theirs. Or suggest that the maximum number is six not ten.
