Please note, when clicking on "instant quote", in addition to the nightly fee, the additional fees consist of the following: $95 cleaning fee, 10.75 mandatory Colorado Lodging tax, 2.5% credit card processing fee and a $250 REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT where I have been able to immediately refund each guest who has stayed, so far. The advantage of booking directly with the owner vs a booking site is to avoid the additional "fees" tacked on to travelers and owners.

Beautifully furnished 1 bedroom, queen size, 1 full bathroom upstairs carriage house with a wall of windows facing a tree lined park. Our carriage house provides a separate entrance and separate address from our main home. We have thoughtfully furnished this space to ensure a cozy, cottage feel where you can retreat from life or embrace the downtown proximity to a plethora of coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, parks and shops.

We are located in a residential neighborhood 1-2 miles from the zoo, Nature & Science museum and Union Station/16th Street mall in the heart of downtown. We have a bus stop located just a quarter block from the door and the light rail train station 6 blocks (a brisk 5 minute walk) which will take you to the airport via Union Station or anywhere light rail extends. We are a 10 minute walk to the closest Denver B-cycle station; we have many stations throughout the city. We are walking distance to RINO (River North Arts District), Uptown, City Park and Five Points or you are welcome to just relax and unwind at your home away from home. We have a washer/dryer in the unit along with new, premium stainless steel appliances, throughout.

There is a private patio area just for the carriage house with table/chairs, umbrella and a BBQ to enjoy the 300 days of Sunshine we get in the Mile High City. We are still in the midst of planting trees and flowers in this space, but you'll be able to sit outside with a park view.

Additional Property Information

Our carriage house has its own address, separate entrance and is located separately from the main house.
Upon entrance into the carriage house, there are a flight of stairs to the living quarters.
There is a private, fenced in patio with BBQ, table, chairs and umbrella overlooking the park.
Street parking is typically accessible to parking in front of unit with ease as our street is fairly residential to allow owners to park in front of their residence.

Suitability Details
We have no child gates on our stairs, so if you have a walking toddler, it is advisable this might not be the best place for your stay with all the stairs. Same applies to anyone with issues getting up and down stairs. (there are about 15-20 steps to enter and exit apartment).

Exceeded Expectations!

I am not a heavy VRBO user but if this is the typical experience I will be. The owners were accessible, accommodating, professional and kind. The property is brand new and immaculate. Location is central to everything we wanted to see in Denver. We had our dog Nala with us and the home is conveniently located across the street from a beautiful park that included a dog park. A+ experience and strongly recommend.

A true neighborhood gem!!!

My husband and I thought this carriage house was perfect for my visit home to visit my parents. The house is centrally located - really convenient to the Five Points area and downtown. Kelly was such a great hostess! She answered all of my questions and had really great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. She also checked in on us throughout our stay to see if we needed anything.

Great place, has everything (and brand new)!

The apartment was perfect for Loki (a boxer mix) and I, on our trip to Denver. It's a 10-20mins drive into downtown (even in traffic), or a close enough walk to the RTD station. It was well furnished and had everything I could have needed (and it was all brand new!). Kelly & James were excellent and. Street parking was super simple and the park (and dog park) right across the street was great for keeping Loki occupied and plenty tired. I would definitely (and already have) recommended this apartment to anyone looking to stay close to Denver.
