TihsreeD is a destination site that is relaxed yet elegant. We have relationships with wedding planners, photographers, caterers, and other wedding professionals should you need referrals, however, we do not require you to use any specific vendor. We allow you to serve food and alcohol on your own terms.
Our very central location puts your guests close to fun things to do while visiting Colorado. Florissant Fossil Bed Monument is just down the road. There are horse stables, hiking trails, ATV rentals, fishing lakes/rivers, microbreweries, skiing, rafting and more an hour or less away. In fact, there are plenty of activities to keep everyone busy less than 5 miles from the Lodge: free historical museum, local artisan shops, hiking, rock hunting, fishing and more.
But why even leave the TihsreeD! Your guests will enjoy the 3.5 miles of private hiking, digging for rare minerals on site, hunting for Native American modified trees, feeding wood into one of the many outdoor fireplaces, or soaking in one of the hot tubs. Perhaps whacking some golf balls from the golf tee would be fun for them, or playing horseshoes, ladder ball or corn hole. There are plenty of fun indoor and outdoor activities right on the property.
If you book for the week, you may use the barn multiple times at no additional cost. Host a welcome party/ice breaker on day 1, a family movie/game night later in the week, and have both your rehearsal and ceremony/reception in the barn. There are many lovely spots outside for your ceremony as well.
We are very flexible and want your special day to be all you hope it will be. If you chose us, great! If not, we still wish you much joy and success as you move forward. Please give us a call so we can begin helping you make your wedding the Rustic Colorado Adventure you hope it will be.

Why Toni and Donald Moore chose South Central Colorado:
Tihsreed is a truly magical place. We are sited in the center of the state so you have just a short drive to the best Colorado has to offer and if you choose to stay put, we have plenty of fun for you on site: a golf tee, hiking trails, hot tub, dvds, fireplaces, wildlife and much more.
We are built on the historic Ute Native American vision quest trail. Many of our trees were culturally modified over hundreds of years by the Ute warriors as they made prayers, held ceremonies and completed their vision quests. When you visit, we believe you will agree that our property feels holy.
What makes this lodge unique
Tihsreed Lodge is decorated with fun and whimsical items, all for sale. There are games, collectibles, antiques and tchotchke that you will enjoy viewing. Many guests choose to purchase items to take home as mementos of their Colorado vacation.
We are located at 9000 feet above sea level, so a hike on the property will give you an extra effort work out. There are swings along the path and many deer live on the property. The views of Pikes Peak and the Collegiate Mountains are beautiful.
It is uncommon to find a spot so private, yet with so much space. Large groups can enjoy the time together, yet have room for private time to reflect. There is something magical about being away from the hustle and bustle of everyday and having time to really build relationships.
Our guests leave with a real Colorado experience. They have had wonderful mountain air, water and views. Guest leave with a Rocky Mountain high in their head and their hearts.

We had a very enjoyable time with all my husbands family from his father down to the youngest great grandchild, 39 people in all. They came from California, Missouri and Texas. It was great reconnecting with them all and the accommodations worked very well for us. The weather was lovely and the views were awesome! We would recommend this place to others. Thank you for everything!

What an amazing vacation spot!! I have utilized VRBO/ Homeaway many times and have yet to be disappointed. However, never have my expectations been so underestimated. Upon arrival we were met with a welcome by the owners. They wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. I have never felt so welcome in someone else's home. They proved invaluable with ideas of places to go and with their knowledge. They truly have everything you will need. The accommodations are outstanding and the views are truly breathtaking. Please take the time to enjoy the hiking trails on the property. Just take along your camera for some wonderful nature shots. This is truly an amazing place to visit. My family will never forgot the beautiful home, the grounds and the new friends we found in the owners!! There simply is not enough good things to say. With 13 people staying in one place (including teenagers) and not one person had even one negative thing to say that is an amazing accomplishment. It's just that kind of place!!

We will never forget our stay at TihsreeD. It was one of very limited wedding venues we checked out and immediately knew it was what we were looking for - a place for both of our families to gather and spend a weekend with everything on site. All of our guests fully enjoyed their stay and of course, have called it the "best wedding ever." I'm biased but, I agree. We were able to have our dog in our ceremony and on site which greatly eased my worries and made my day. We were allowed the freedom to decorate the barn as we wished and made it our own for the day. We also set up our walkway and arch and hosted a fun reception night in the barn. We wanted to host our wedding in a location that felt like one of our homes - and that's what this felt like! Wishing we could get married every year! (Ok, not really.)
What a fabulous spot! We utilized all parts of the property - hiking trails, hot tub, outdoor fireplace, etc. such fun.

This lodge is a beautiful place to go! Quiet, serene with awesome views of Pikes Peak. Toni & Don were most helpful before, during and after our stay. They provided us with lots of useful information before we even left for CO. Any problems we had the lodge were handled right away. All the guys in the family have Jeeps so needless to say a lot of off-roading was done, I think my two sons tried to do every trail there was in the surrounding area. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace, making s'mores, roasting marshmallows, and enjoying family laughter. We went to so many places while there, Valley of the Gods, the Cliff Dwellings, Old CO Springs, the Cog Railway to Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek museum and train, Seven Falls (which was closed for repairs) and shopping in Manitou Springs. The sunset and sunrises were gorgeous at the lodge, the hot tub was wonderful especially at night looking at the stars. Such an awesome place to sit back, relax, enjoy your family playing games, etc. and making a life time of memories. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from it all and enjoy nature at it's best. God's creations! The family of Frank & Louise Koone, ST. Ann, MO

This home has a great mountain lodge feel. It was very well equipped and owners were available if needed, but did not see them otherwise. We had the mountain to ourselves. The outdoor fireplace was a big hit. We had three families in the main lodge -- each essentially had their own floor for privacy when desired, but then we met in the huge living area or outdoor patio when we wanted to get together. There is no cell or internet at the lodge (which I thoroughly enjoyed), but some may not. Great place to play games and talk to each other, do a puzzle or read a book. As remote as it is, you are only about 20 minutes from Safeway, Walmart etc and all you could ever need. I highly recommend TishreeD Lodge and will be back next time we are in CO.

We had an amazing wedding and party for our guests at Tihsreed! Everyone was able to stay and was totally comfortable in one of the many beautiful rooms they had available. We had a few too many guests that weren't able to stay on the property, so Toni and Don took care of renting the Cowboy Cove up the street for them which worked out great! All our family and friends are still talking about how our wedding was the best...great venue and service, beautiful place and so relaxing! We'd would recommend getting married or having a family reunion here in a heart beat.
Thanks for everything Toni and Don!

We rented the lodge along with the cabin and reception barn for our small wedding. We had around 35 people in attendance with the majority staying in either the cabin or reception for the extended weekend. It was the perfect spot to host an intimate wedding with so many extras included. We went hiking, saw wildlife, went hot tubbing, and played yard and bored games throughout the weekend. Don and Toni were extremely accommodating and had everything you needed. Although the weather was unpredictable for our May wedding, everyone worked together well to make it work. I loved this place as well as everyone that enjoyed the weekend with us. We hope to go back in five years with the same group of people to relive this perfect weekend. Highly Recommended!

Our family of 19 just returned from a week at Tihsreed and had the stay of a lifetime. We were treated like family by Toni & Don and they went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful reunion/vacation. We had 3 generations of 4 families so finding plenty to do at the house and in the area was a concern but we quickly realized that we'd hit a home run with Tishreed and with the general area. We know we will be back!

We had a wonderful family vacation all centered around our stay at the TihsreeD Lodge. The lodge itself is clean, well maintained and uniquely decorated. Toni and Don, the owners, answered questions promptly; were friendly and helpful in our planning and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property. There were 16 of us, ranging in age from 2 to 71. We had plenty of room for relaxing together, and had spacious rooms to retire to. We all found plenty to do on and off the property. The TihsreeD is located within an easy day-trip to whitewater rafting, horseback riding, mountain climbing, the Great Sand Dunes, amusement parks, train rides, and lots more. We enjoyed walking the trails around the property, seeing deer and other critters, and the magnificent view of Pikes Peak as the sun highlighted it each day.

What a perfect weekend! The spot is gorgeous, the lodge was huge yet cozy, clean and had everything we could have possibly needed, and Toni and Don were exceptionally helpful from the moment we made the reservation through our weekend stay. We loved it and hope to be back! Thank you!
